Hi, I’m Deepthi and I am the face behind The Green Bakery. I am a certified pastry chef and in 2015, I traded my 10-year corporate position to pursue my love for baking from my home kitchen in India. I wanted to ensure all my loved ones could share in great tasting goodness.
Arriving in Australia and settling in Sydney’s north shore in 2017, I was touched by how the community included my family and I knew I wanted to give back. Starting The Green Bakery, I envisioned offering delicious food that best accommodates everyone in our capacious community.
For 6 years, we have proudly served the community regardless of allergies and dietary requirements from my home-based bakery. Our mission remains unchanged but in 2022, The Green Bakery outgrew my humble kitchen and expanded into a Bakery in Artarmon, and now to North Sydney.
If you drop by The Green Bakery*, you might catch me and the team mid-performance in the kitchen where I continue to love to sing (and is usually coupled with some dancing).
